How I built this website
I used Ghost to run my website. For simplicity (and to keep it off of my home-lab), I hosted it on PikaPods which has treated me great so far. I used the Dawn theme but had to modify it (Dawn-main) to allow for a static homepage. See the article by Andy Yang for how to set up a static homepage using custom routes and the modified theme.
