What is the TechnoCatholic?

The TechnoCatholic is a Catholic who engages with technology regularly.

They are programmers, engineers, chemists, scientists, system administrators, cyber analysts, and OSINT specialists who participate in the sacraments.

They are gamers, movie junkies, audiophiles, YouTubers, and aesthetic Pinterest board creators who love the sacramental beauty of reality.

They order their digital lives to the health of their mind, body, and soul but, most importantly, they do not despair of finding good in technology even when it feels hopeless.

The TechnoCatholic is an optimist, who sees technology as a gift of God – but also a skeptic, recognizing that all technology is tainted by sin.

The TechnoCatholic craves the romanticism of ages past – the farm, the craftsman, the simplicity of rural life – but cannot shake the conviction that technology is beautiful, even when those around them do not see it as such.

TechnoCatholics are technology optimists, users, creators, and cultivators. But they are first and foremost Catholics who [try to] offer everything in their lives to God.

Most of all, the TechnoCatholic is a weak human who is in desperate need of God's forgiveness; who without Him can do no good and redeem no aspect of reality.
